Itinerary
Departure from Lima by scheduled flight to Arequipa. Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel.
Afternoon visit to the "White City" of Peru including the Santa Catalina Monastery, the Plaza de Armas, the ancient cloisters of the Jesuit order and the picturesque suburbs of Yanahuara and Carmen Alto, with a magnificent view of the El Misti volcano.
Breakfast. Early in the morning, departure for a two-day trip to the Colca Valley. Pass through Pampa Cañahuas in the Aguada Blanca National Reserve, habitat of herds of vicuñas. Admire its famous pre-Hispanic terraces that are still cultivated by native Collaguas.
Breakfast. Departure in the morning to the Cruz del Condor, observation point from where you can see these beautiful Andean birds. Impressive panorama of the Colca Canyon, one of the deepest in the world.
After lunch return to Arequipa and overnight.
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport.
Departure from Arequipa by scheduled flight to Lima.
